Match Report/Information

Stopped play at the request of Goldsborough for 10 mins 2 overs into 2nd innings, due to low sun behind bowlers arm. Batsman and umpire, provided by Goldsborough, were reluctant to continue until sun had disappeared behind clouds. This local rule was not mentioned to the Bishop Monkton batsmen who struggled through most of their innings with very restricted vison also caused by the low sun behind the bowlers arm. It would have been more sporting if both sides were aware of this before the game started.
