Match Report/Information
Wow where to begin with this one. Firstly must say that Ribston have the right attitude to evening leauge cricket - a good set of lads and a shed load of laughter all night.
JM and DBH opened the batting with some big shots, Varghese played a sensible knock. Good runs from Howard and some interesting selfless play from the lower order. Marsh and Yeomans did a good job with the ball.
Ripleys ground fielding was good, some of the catching less so (err that would be me then), 4 one handed catches could be a club record. Walker bowled well first up and Varghese kept one end tight allowing us dobblers to have a run at the end. Taylors 2 in 2 was awsome on his first bowl in evening league cricket.
Thanks to everyone involved in a cracking night of "village" cricket.
