Match Report/Information
Grass on the wicket, but we didnt play cricket. Good team on paper but we played on grass instead.
Captain won the toss - first mistake. Captain opened and got out second ball, second mistake. Captain bowled, game over.
A good effort by the boys tonight, never giving up and getting close. Ripon bowled well moving it around just enough and took their chances, Watson the pick of the bowlers.
Action Jackson bowled well for Ripley and we made some chances but couldn't cling on. Proud of the boys for the effort put in. Watch out Spofforth next week the reserves are coming (apart from the 8 players who are away of course!)
