Match Report/Information
Josh blades won his 17th out of 17th toss (double sided coin has been questioned) and chose to bat on a grand summers evening. J.Briscombe and A.Lincoln put on a 50 stand to give staveley a good solid base. Some good batting down the order from C.hendy and R.Crabb left staveley to scrape to a beloew par 120. 120 seemed 10 or 15 runs to short aspecially with ten men. Burnt yates got off to a slowish start with good bowling from T.Barker and S.Campbell but L.Hughes soon picked up the pace hiting some well needed boundries. it went down to the last over where Yates needed 15 to win. First ball from R.Crabb saw L.Hughes clip him away for 6. R.Crabb returned with a great bit of work of his own bowling to finally get rid off hughes who made an exellent 57 in tricky conditions!
