Match Report/Information
A glorious evening with that soft, filtered light of late spring; we could have played 30 overs a side it was so clear out there. Raintons batting was full of aggression and stout strokes; Robbie bowled particularly well. Glass's catching was as iffey as ever with keeper Seldon P dropping the simplest of easy-peasy catches, and Dave W catching a snorter. Come our turn to bat and it was apparent that Rainton was light in the bowling department. Rob ghosted effortlessly to 50 in 17 balls, Waq clobbered some boundaries then Alfie finished the match with 4 fours in succession. With this win, we are no longer bottom of the league!
