Match Report/Information

Arthington CC was playing at Studley Royals home ground,Arthington CC batted first and lost their both openers very early in 5th over but then the middle order stuck in for some brilliant and aggressive shots played by George Elagy and Mohsin Ali managed to get a 50 run partnership then George Elagy mistimed one to get caught on the boundary with a well made 26 after that they lost their other set batsmen on 33 at the total of 92,Trevor Lobley tried to build the inning a bit but he was dismissed by a very good ball by O Smith and after that None of the lower order batsmen add any runs to the board and they lost their last 4 for 0 and managed to get 112/9 in 20 overs.
Studley Royal started their inning with some attacking strokes all around the ground and got some help from the Arthington CC’s poor fielding and their bowlers were all over the place with only the opening bowlers tried to keep some tight lines but Studley Royal openers kept on putting pressure on the Arthington bowlers and fielders,Trevor lobley brought Arthington back in the game with 3 wickets in 2 overs but Studley Riyal kept on getting their runs with the help of 2 drop catches and a brilliant 31* from I Holloway took them over the line.
