Match Report/Information
Thank you to BL for an enjoyable game and a good contest. Well batted by the Barkers and bowled by the Slacks.
We fielded errr poorly (7 dropped catches), but J Berthet bowled well as did G Stancombe. J Bethet and I Howard then batted well and J M Lloyd hit a 6 off his first ball to win the game!
As captain, it has been an enjoyable season with some ups and downs, but pleased for all involved at Ripley to bring home our first trophy for 7 years.
Thank you to all teams in the league for showing that the spirit of circket is not quite dead yet.
