Match Report/Information
Brompton on Swale hosting Waggon and Horses in a very tight match with Waggon winning the toss and choosing to bat. After losing their first 5 wkts quickly K Lumb with 27 and A Corner 25 not out made more respectful target of 96. Pick of the bowlers being N Armstrong with 3 for 12 off 4. In reply Waggon had Brompton reeling on 17 for 6 only resistance coming from W Raw 22 and M Tiplady 23 not out. Somehow Brompton won against some top draw fielding and bowling by one wicket. A brilliant high catch taken by K lumb and 2 great ct and b by P Allen one a one handed catch above his head finishing with 4 for 34 off 6. M Tweddle with 2 for 24 off 6 and 2 for 12 for N Wallach off 5.2. Another sterling performance from the Waggon but unlucky to lose again in a well enjoyable, spirited match!!
