Match Report/Information
A fantastic game played in a superb spirit went down to the last over for the second time in consecutive games for Mavs. mavs batted first and posted a competitive 135, a good knock of 54 not out from M. Layfield and a captains innings from B. Hodgson, batting 15 overs for a respectable 31 not out!
Middleham then got off to a bad start losing quick wickets, some good bowling from P. Moseley and A. Hines but then a very quick fire 55 not out from M. Woodcock got them back into the game and from the last over they needed 7 runs to win. 4 dot balls and then a wicket from P. Moseley brought back M. Woodcock with him needing to hit a 6 off the last ball to tie the game but P. Moseley held his nerve and bowled a maiden to finish!
