Match Report/Information
Dales batting first got off to a flyer with C.Hardwick hitting a quick 55 retired out with fellow opener K.Hutchinson hitting 26 before succumbing to one of S.Coombs 4 victims as he pegged back the Dales innings to 113 from there 20 overs. In reply Newton lost both openers cheaply before D.Thompson held the innings together with 45 but in the end they fell short by 9 runs as they closed on 104 for 6. Albanain international J.Uca taking 4 of the Newton wickets. A game well played between both teams and well done to Newton's 2 junior debutants who fielded very well Josh Potter and 8 year old Matthew Coombs.
