Match Report/Information
Batting first Dales reached 113 thanks to another excellent knock by Chris Hardwick who retired on 52. Brompton's innings got off to a slow start thanks to some accurate tight bowling from Hardwick and Stanwix removing both openers for only 8 runs. However, after that Dales committed cricketing suicide by dropping 6 catches, two of them particularly upsetting as they were from their junior Harry Hughes who bowled well under pressure. Tiplady (35)and Jones (53) batted well to see Brompton home.
