Match Report/Information
Crakehall batted well getting to a competitive total of 159 with contributions from G Maclelland 50 retired, T Bishop 30 and A Chadwick 34 not out being the best. The pick of Scruton's bowlers was J Mollard returning 4 for 39 from his 6 overs. The Scruton reply started well they were 75 off 9 overs without loosing a wicket and going well but with the loss of I Place retired 50 and D Plews 29 soon after, the momentum turned towards the home team and with four of the bowlers sharing the wickets between them Scruton came up 15 runs short. On the whole an exciting game played in a sporting and good natured way.
