Dales won the toss and opted to make first use of a green seamers wicket and were soon in trouble after the loss of their Talisman Jim Uca with only Jed Collins putting up some stern resistance, however with his departure Sam Winter masterfully marshalled his lower order colleagues to get to 55 off their twenty overs. Scruton started poorly with J Wright being run out by a direct hit from near the boundary off the first ball of the innings, when his opening partner and A Mair followed soon after nerves were jangling on the players balcony. It was left to Scrutons opening bowlers Brass and Gallagher to see them home. Thanks to Dales for a sporting game played in a splindid setting. ,
