Match Report/Information
T W won the toss and batting first found early runs hard to come by, very tight bowling from Skipper O King the main reason, as T W started to get going a bowling change was made and Robin King senior pro of Eryholme came on at the stock tree end, and slowed down the run rate with his slow/fast ball bouncers and and leg stump yorkers. Eryholme started their reply with the first 8 balls been taped back to the bowler, and then the calm ended as C Biglin took a shine to watlass pin ball machine and avoided the trees which had earlier cost TW batsmen A Cooper a total of 17 runs as balls going for 6 flew of the branches and back onto the pitch with the unhapper batter limping a single.(he did keep smiling and credit to him) Eryholme were easier winers and are lucky to get high sporting points cos they nicked all the chips at the Buck afterwards, Good bunch of lads, thnks for a game played in great spirit.
