Match Report/Information
Brompton won the toss and decided to bowl first. Dales got off to a lively start with Telford (17) providing some big shots in the opening few overs before he was caught off the bowling of J. Dowse. Tight bowling from the Brompton openers and the fall of a few wickets saw Dales struggling but G.Mulhern with a score of 24 and J,Uca (19) brought them up to a score of 98 from 20 overs. All of the Bromptonbowlers bowling well and all except two picking up a wicket.
The Brompton innings took an early blow with a wicket falling in the 2nd over but L.Jones (32) and S.Porter (23) took the innings to a strong position and at the half way point the score was 58 but a mid order collapse saw Brompton needing 9 from the last over but they only managed to gain 2 runs from the final over meaning Dales took victory by 6 runs. J Uca was the outstanding bowler for Dales with 3 wickets for 7 runs.
