A disappointing day which saw another unavailability from Masham's overseas player in favour of watching TV, the apparent support of this by the club and some unbelievable umpiring (no matter the reason for volunteering to do it), on a night where Masham had been comprehensively thrashed off the park which meant Masham not only left with no points but with only seven sportsmanship points.

How easy would it have been to leave the umpiring to the players as they do every week, for a ball that almost grazed off stump not to be called a wide and to give a junior out caught behind when he had hit the case off it?

Apologies to Crakehall for such an embarrassing turn of events. Sometimes running wednesday nights is hard enough. Thanks a lot.
