Match Report/Information

Scruton won the toss and elected to bat on a dark night with rain looking like it could fall any second. E Nicholson bowled very tight from his end and earned his wickets with the ball keeping low, not bad for a man who likes bowling on bouncy wickets. Chris Atkinson put any bad balls away later in the innings and made the choice of MOM difficult. The highlight for TW was the C and B of young Tom Moore, whose smile brought a bit of sunshine. In reply TW lost an early wicket. TW no 3 watched 2 more fall before he got off the mark, but that brought M Brown to the crease for his Wednesday 2012 debut, the suburb bowling from Scruton's openers continued and after 12 overs TW had 40 on the board, without loosing another wicket TW reached the target with an over to spare. Competitive on the pitch and very friendly off it, an excellent game.
