Match Report/Information
BOS won the toss and decided to bat on what proved to be a wicket helpful to the bowlers and were all out 117 in the last over of their innings. 30 by Weaver, 22 by Ingram batting at 8 and Extras 21 being the main contributors to a winning score on the night. S Brass 21 for 4 bowling off a shortened run due to the conditions and Harry Dick 22 for 3 were the best of a Scruton attack making the best of bowling with, what was by the second half of the innings, a very wet ball.
Scruton started poorly and on a drying wicket their task was always going to be a difficult one and only while the agricultural Wilson was at the crease did they look like catching up with the rate and when Alinson took his wicket the chase was as good as over. Thanks to the BOS groundsman who allowed us to ruin beyond use one of his precious wickets.
