Match Report/Information
On not a very promising night, if you believe the weather forecast, Scruton won the toss and as is the custom of an evening batted first. After a slow start and a sluggish middle due to the tight bowling of Wheeler and Bowes Scruton wound up on 89. The pick of Scruton's batting being a chance less(until he was bowled) 24 from the reliable James Wright. Also worthy of mention was the Bowling of Marshall, 1 over, 4 wickets in successive balls for only 2 runs and then cruelly taken off.
The Middleham innings started briskly and were soon at their target contributions from Ewart(21) and Nicholson(26) getting them there in the fourteenth over with only Wright 15 for 2 and Wilson 36 for 3 making inroads into the Middleham batting. Cheers for a great game lads see you next year.
