Yes the scorecard is not lying...... We got 129 and won the game without the aid of a pot 1 cricketer in bat so a very well done to the shit cricketers (apart from slops who is a dosgrace and claims he's pot 2, LOL).

Any way the skipper won the toss and decided to bat first with Woody and Hunty opening the bat as he had a feeling Eryholme would be cake (they had a girl playing) and BOY they didn't disappoint. Hunty got a record 7 and even hit a boundary, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha..... And his partner woodie, well where do I start with this lad? Pot 3 and creaming 31 from the sweet spot with aplomb. He was briefly partnered with his Eppleby brother D Muir who chipped in with a tasty 9 runs. Then it was the soon father to be J Tomlinsons turn to lash the leather around the dream theatre with a very handy 19. Woodie was STILL at the crease at this point, who would surely not see out the full innings in bat....? Enter Fabio "I absolutely bott getting singles" Sartini who actually made woody run which is not his batting style ( especially when it involves a head on collision with the opposition) . Woody was then bowled out for 31 and enter the skipper and a true leader of men A Hines. He hit a wonderful 4 then got carried away..... OUT! Next to the to add to the rapid run rate was Slops......... QUACK QUACK. Bowled out by the girl I think!? He was replaced by the man who defies gravity G Nicholson who hit more runs than he has spots on his back....... SIXTEEN, well played that man. G McManus then came to the fold to run really slowly between the wickets to Fabios frustrations. Gaz chipped in with an impressive 17 whilst our test batsman Fabio hit 25 singles. Cracking performance with the bat lads.

Big score for Eryholme to chase and the skipper was confident of victory, this was until Barry slog got 50 fairly quickly (mostly off slops bowling). Hines had big desicions to make about the bowling attack and decided the best tactic would be to bowl himself when Barry slog was at the bowlers end. GREAT CAPTAINCY!! Any way once there only good batsmen retired it was a stroll in the park for the Mavs. David Graham Swan Muir turned the ball like I've never seen and settled the nerves with a wicket. A great spell by Tomlinson who ripped the bails off when the girl was in bat (muted celebrations) and g McManus came on to finish the job and try break an old mans hand.
