Match Report/Information
Sportsmanship: 10 always a pleasure to play TW
Man of the Match:A Hill 4 for 3 at the end of the innings well done young man.
Scruton won the toss and decided to make first use of the facilities. Out came Brass and Mellor to open the innings Steve Brass top scored making a quick fire 28. The other highlight being a typically aggressive 25 from Andrew Wilson. The rest of the team making hard work of getting to a below par score of 95. Some tight fielding and economical bowling would be required. This was the case with only A Cooper top scoring with 29, M Brown 23 and skipper Dave Jardine 17 making double figures. An exiting good spirited game came down to Thornton Watlass requiring 11 from the last over and with Brown and Lawton batting(Lawton with a runner). Some tight bowling and excellent fielding left Watlass requiring 4 from the last ball. The field spread far and wide managed to prevent this and Watlass fell 3 runs short.
