Match Report/Information
Richmond Mavericks won the toss and elected to bowl first. Joe Lincoln got Crakehall off to a very good, fast start as he capitalised on some loose bowling from the Mavericks. Mavericks then got back into the game with some quick wickets but due to the good start Crakehall got they were always going to post a good score. Mavericks then bowled very tightly at the end of the innings to reduce Crakehall to 136-9.
Mavericks then lost wickets at regular intervals and where never up with the run rate and when Michael layfield was dismissed with 5 overs to go it was a hard task for the Mavericks, but a late cameo from captain Danny Dale looked as if it could make the game interesting but he was bowled by Steve French for 20 to effectiveley end the tie.
