Match Report/Information

WTCC batted first but some tight bowling restricted them to just 14 from the first 5 overs. Opener John Craddock (44) picked up the pace a little, with Sam Abel coming in at number four to hit a quick 27 not out and James Stainthorp added a scrappy 13. Spennithorne never looked like failing to get the total, and despite opener Tom Mawer falling LBW to Tony Clark for 43, Vince Greaves-Newell steadied the ship with an unbeaten 41. Clark finished with figures of 3 for 36 from 6 overs.
