Match Report/Information
Another wacky wednesday....
S Gabriel got the host team off to as flying start as he was clean bowled first ball. Masham replied with Broadley and 14yr old Jones steadying the ship until Swainston removed the pair. A middle order collapse meant it was up to A Sturdy to prove he wasn't the only taxi with plenty of shots that day. A quick fire 40 helped the visitors to a par score of 142. Richmond kept the run rate ticking over in reply with a couple of LBW "certs" dismissed by the umps. On a slow wicket but with an outfield with the speed Bolt would be proud of a boundary an over ensured the hosts were always on target. Target reached with 3 balls to spare. A close match played in a good spirit.
DOD goes to the captain-no whites, no scorebook-good job he can set a field.
MOM A Sturdy
