Match Report/Information
J'AI VOUDRAIS LES WICKETS? AH OUI TRES BIEN!!!
With a mass exodus from SA , and few people really bothered about Murray, the press box was packed at a full house for Spenny vs Mash. The hosts got a off to a flying start with Gaze tearing a new one for Gabriel and Jones early on. Starts by American Bucanon and Chinese International Sturdy supported Heke on his way to a half century. Linsey and Gaze then took a few more wickest but the damage had been done, Masham ended on a par score of 147.
The haircut (Kitchingman) and Mawer made a solid start with help from Falshaw and Sturdy in the field. Sturdy was said to be suffering from "taxi driver syndrome"- having your hands wrapped round a steering wheel for 8 hours aday reduces the ability to open the palm quickly, hence the recent drops.
A change in the bowling brought the stand-in-captains son to the action. Favouritism?Definateley,Extra pocket money? For sure. A week in France helped Craig take his mind off cricket and concentrate on some french chicks. His much relaxed attitude helped him remove most of the top order taking 7 for 31.
The press were loving a proper English sporting success!
