Match Report/Information
TW won the toss and elected to have a bat first. They got off to a steady start due to some tight bowling from the Mavericks openers but then as the Mavs experimented with the bowling, the runs started to flow more freely and TW were able to post a respectable 108.
It was good for all Maverick fans to see the return of the influential skipper, Chris Snowdon, after a few weeks of pesting. However, the ruthless skipper proved he wasn't out there to mess about as I. Welsh found out only getting 1 over as he went for 9 runs! Apparently he didn't bowl tight enough!
Mavs then went out to bat and the inform M. Brown 75 not out, made light work of the total as he guided Mavs to their victory target within 15 overs. Also, a PB from B. Hodgson infront of his watching father was a fantastic achievement, 12 entertaining singles in his score of 12! Another good win for the Mavs and a good all round game of cricket.
