Match Report/Information
Brompton hosting Waggon won the toss and chose to bat first. After losing early wickets were on 24 after 10 overs until P Allen with some big hitting made 104 not out including 7 sixes and 7 fours, ending up with very useful 124 for 5. Pick of brompton bowlers N Armstrong with 1 for 13 off 4, G Strafford taking 3 for 48. In reply Brompton made 80 for 9 W Raw with 23 not out. Some good bowling and fielding again from Waggon, getting early wickets and no batsman really getting settled. Openers taking 5 wickets between them M Tweddle with 3 for 30 off 5, and N Wallach 2 for 31 off 6, M Bailey finishing them off with 3 for 8 off 2. a good friendly game which ended up almost in the dark saw Waggon to there 4th win of the season a big turn around from previous seasons!
