Match Report/Information
Dales won the toss and elected to bat down at richmond on what looked to be a fantastic batsmans paradise! They got off to a good start with C. Hardwick scoring a very good 63 and he was supported well by L. Telford who remained 41 not out at the close as they posted a challenging 131-2 after their 20 overs.
Mavs came out to bat and yet another superb batting performance from 1 of our "cricketers" proved to be the match winning innings, M. Layfield 93 not out was supported well by a career best 14 from K. Emson, all meant M. Brown could only sit and watch with his dummy out as he was unable to improve his impressive batting average for this season. All in all a fantastic season for the Mavs only losing 1 game. We must thank that fielder at Crakehall for spurring us on to compete for the title, thanks MATE!!
