Match Report/Information
End of the season and Mash fielded like it. Highlights from tim "tampon timmy" howard, great shy at the stumps to remove clarkson, and hands quicker than a scouser in a service station from Jones jnr behind the stumps. Pickard bowled well and was unlucky not to get the openers early on....which they admitted later.Burnett will enjoy playing there every other week next season on a sat.
In response mash crumbled. Anyone could have been a hero against very second rate first change bowlers.
Only Broadley Snr provided any resistance- What do you get if you cross a b@stard and a hosital orderly...an Anthony Broadley!
Some rain-aid from Pakistan wouldnt have gone a miss but didnt happen.
That concludes the season, and though the league table on this site may have Northallerton ringers at the top, we all know who won the writers award. This reporter and his 2IC are covering the ashes for a broadsheet over the winter.....adios
its been emotional
